Mandy and I have been lucky enough to have Ben and Kezia as friends since shortly after we started dating 9 years ago. Mandy and Kezia were both vocalists performing with a local group, and the two of them hit it off instantly.

Since then, Mandy moved to the island, we got married and all sort of started our adult lives, but we always stay in touch with K&B and get together whenever we can when visiting the ainland. And when the two of them asked me to shoot their wedding I was thrilled.

They are warm, genuine, hilarious and cultured people ( Kezia is originally from Indonesia ) and we knew their friends and family would be a reflection of that. Further, Mandy was also one of Kezia’s Bridesmaids.

They chose to have a semi-destination wedding just outside of Oliver, BC for a more intimate ( and beautiful! ) feel.

And while heavy rain and wind struck on the wedding day, their spirits weren’t dampened. The day was filled with joy, love, and laughter; everything a wedding should be.  Here are some of my favorites.
